If you’re an HBO subscriber, you’re likely watching season 3 of The White Lotus right now, as we speak. This season, the beloved series takes place in Thailand, making many of us envious for white sand beaches, a view of the bright blue ocean and tropical drinks. So if you’re looking to stay at the filming locations from the show, we’ve dug up the actual White Lotus filming locations from across all three seasons (reservations through Anantara and KAYAK).

Considering how affordable flights to resort destinations can be and three different stays in the $300 range, we’re putting a luxurious White Lotus vacation to Thailand on our calendar for our next getaway.

Season 3: Thailand

Season three is the first season of The White Lotus that didn’t entirely take place at a Four Seasons hotel. According to Travel and Leisure, the new season is filmed at three different resorts. Two are located on the island of Koh Samui, while the other is on the island of Phuket. In fact, Anantara, which owns all three resorts, recently launched a “Lotus Awakening Escape” package, includes stays at two of the below resorts and a few activities inspired by the series — how fun.

Anantara BoPhut Koh Samui, Anantara, rooms starting at $322

Anantara BoPhut Koh Samui is a beautiful beachside resort located on the north coast of Koh Samui in Thailand. It features 5-star rooms, where we promise Greg will not be lurking. In a perfect world, you’ll be safe from creepy men like Saxon, while lounging by the massive pool. The beaches are just as beautiful as they are on the show, so you can catch some rays on the lounge chairs they have out there, like Chelsea. The bar, Ocean’s Edge, serves incredible drinks, but don’t drink too much (looking at you, Jaclyn, Laurie and Kate!).

Anantara Lawana Koh Samui, Anantara, rooms starting at $237

Anantara Lawana Koh Samui is another filming location located on the same island of Koh Samui, to the east. Like its counterpart in BoPhut, it’s right on the beach and features a lovely pool. It has a more modern feel, and has 24-hour reception (with better security than Gaitok, though!). There’s a library, in case your S.O. leaves for Bangkok like Rick. And, it isn’t far from the airport, so you can sleep off that flight (and lorazepam) like Victoria.

Anatara Mai Khao Phuket, Anantara, rooms starting at $319

Those looking for a less conventional resort feel should opt for Anatara Mai Khao Phuket, which has both suites and private villas. Each villa has private pools and soaking tubs, which Timothy could maybe use right about now. There’s a complimentary breakfast buffet, which we all know Chelsea would be enjoying (and Rick would be complaining about). There are bike rentals, which we know Lochlan would probably use to ditch his overwhelming family. And there’s a variety of spa services, which Jaclyn, Laurie and Kate would absolutely be using daily.

Season 2: Italy

Season two of The White Lotus was filmed in Italy. According to Cosmopolitan, the crew filmed exterior shots in Taormina, Palermo, Noto and the Ionian Sea. Aside from the hotel itself, the other filming locations were wineries, castles, a restaurant and private homes. However, the actual hotel is a must-see for visitors who can swing at least one night there.

Four Seasons Taormina (aka San Domenico Palace), KAYAK, rooms starting at $1,185

Four Seasons San Domeneico

Four Seasons Taormina in Sicily features grand accommodations and breathtaking common spaces. Each of the rooms come with a luxurious private balcony, while double terraces have private jacuzzi access. There are multiple restaurants at the hotel, though Mia likely won’t be singing behind the piano). The swimming pool is a total dream (no creepy pool boys, we promise!) as is the spa.

Season 1: Maui

The first season of The White Lotus was filmed on Hawaii’s magical island of Maui during COVID and according to The Hollywood Reporter, the film crew was required to stay in one place. However, that one place was the absolutely gorgeous Four Seasons (poor them), and you can stay there IRL.

Four Seasons Maui at Wailea, KAYAK, rooms starting at $1,465 per night

At Four Seasons Maui at Wailea, you can: bask in the sun by the pool (though hopefully not next to any judgmental teen girls). Or, perhaps you might disconnect from your iPad and sleep on the beach. Hopefully, you’ll get a massage. But ideally, you won’t give any false aspirations to start a business with any of the employees like Tanya. Rooms are nearly $1.5k per night, so it will cost an arm and a leg for a long trip. But we strongly suggest spending at least a couple nights there to experience the magic.
